The hotel's location right on the Strand in Oceanside is superb, offering easy access to the street but also comes with small rooms lacking closet space. The service was outstanding, with continuous grounds improvement efforts and helpful, friendly staff. In terms of location, it provides everything needed for a weekend trip, including close proximity to the pier, restaurants, and the Surfliner. On the downside, the small rooms could use more storage space and the street access may cause noise disturbances.
